Abstract
"En el presente trabajo se estudian los diferentes tipos de pilas (primarias y secundarias), con el fin de comprender no sólo su funcionamiento sino también cuáles son sus componentes y qué efectos generan en el medio ambiente. Asimismo, se analizan las diferentes formas de disposición final de las pilas, el enterramiento y reciclaje, y las estrategias hoy utilizadas en Estados Unidos y Europa en relación a este tema".
