Abstract
"El objetivo del proyecto es analizar la factibilidad técnica y económica de instalar biodigestores en el Feedlot San Jorge. Un sistema de biodigestión es, básicamente, el conjunto de componentes que facilitan la conversión de residuos orgánicos en biogás y biofertilizante. Por lo tanto, se pretende no sólo
solucionar los problemas ambientales anteriormente descriptos, sino también proporcionar una ventaja competitiva al establecimiento por el uso de dichos productos, los cuales reemplazarían al gas de garrafa y a los fertilizantes químicos, respectivamente. Incluso, se estudia la posibilidad de comercializar el excedente de bioabono y generar energía eléctrica con el excedente de biogás para devolverla a la red, diversificando el negocio y generando una importante fuente de ingresos."

Therefore, it is intended not only to solve the above-described environmental problems, but also provide a competit ive advantage by the use of these products, which would replace the bottled gas and chemical fertilizers, respectively. Even the possibility of selling surplus biofertilizer and generate electricity with surplus biogas to return back into the network is studied, which would diversify the business and generate a significant source of revenue."
