Abstract
"Este trabajo tiene como objetivo determinar si es viable implementar colectivos de emisión cero en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, una de las ciudades más importantes de
Latinoamérica. Para lograrlo se estudió la posibilidad de incorporar a la red actual de transporte, colectivos eléctricos a batería. Se estudiaron los problemas inherentes a que
operen en la ciudad colectivos con motores diesel. Se analizó la mayoría de las tecnologías de baterías secundarias disponibles, ventajas y desventajas de cada una. Se realizó también el análisis económico de la solución respecto de su par actual."
"This work aims to determine the feasibility of implementing zero-emission buses in the City of Buenos Aires, one of the most important cities in Latin America.To achieve this, the possibility of incorporating to the current transport network a battery electric bus was investigated. The problems associated with the operation of diesel buses in the city were considered. It was analyzed most of the available secondary battery technologies, the advantages and disadvantages of each type. It was also conducted an economic analysis of the proposed solution against the current solution."
