Abstract
"The concept of distributed generation of energy with systems that combine wind turbines with hydrogen production and storage is analyzed in this work. Their optimal design in terms of resources needed is studied, alongside with its feasibility of implementation (technologically and financially speaking) in Argentina. Thus, three business models are proposed, thinking of one user or a reduced group of users responsible for their own power generation. For these purposes, a mathematical model of optimization is built, which considers the financial benefits subject to the market restrictions, the investment in resources and the demand fulfilled. The model is built in MS Excel's environment, and is intended to be a tool for the decision making as the different market and technology parameters change in time. As a conclusion, future perspectives on the technological insertion and development of this renewable alternative are discussed, in parallel with a global cultural change."
