Abstract
"El objetivo del presente estudio es el análisis de distintas alternativas de automatizado del proceso de picking en un almacén de una droguería. Actualmente, el centro opera en su mayoría de forma manual, salvo un sector que se encuentra automatizado. La empresa proyecta un incremento de la demanda a satisfacer en los próximos años, con la apertura de nuevas farmacias y el incremento anual de pedidos en cada una de ellas. Por lo tanto, la implementación de una nueva alternativa buscará aumentar la productividad por operario y así poder satisfacer los pedidos en tiempo y forma. Para el análisis del proyecto, se tuvieron en cuenta variables macroeconomías, como la inflación y la tasa de cambio. Éstas se estimaron y se proyectaron en el tiempo para analizar qué incidencia tendrían en el análisis financiero del proyecto. A su vez, el aumento de la productividad disminuye la necesidad de contratar nuevo personal, lo cual trae aparejado un ahorro en salarios. Teniendo en cuenta los egresos originados por la inversión inicial y el mantenimiento de la máquina, se realizó un estudio financiero a partir del análisis de un flujo de fondos. Se analizó la implementación del automatizado en distintos escenarios posibles, en los cuales la demanda podía variar frente a la proyectada. Frente a estos distintos escenarios, se consideró la posibilidad de realizar la inversión de etapas."

Currently, the center operates mostly manually, with a sector that is automated. For the coming years, the Company estimates an increase in the demand, with the opening of new pharmacies and the annual increase of orders in each one. Therefore, the implementation of a new alternative will seek to increase productivity per worker and thus to fulfill orders in a timely manner. For the analysis of the project, we considered macroeconomics variables such as inflation and the Exchange rate. These were estimated and projected for the next years, to analyze the impact they would have on the financial analysis of the project. The increase in productivity decreases the need to hire new staff, which brings savings in wages. Considering the expenses caused by the initial investment and maintenance of the machine, a financial study was done by analyzing a flow of funds. Automated implementation was analyzed in different scenarios, in which demand could vary against the one projected. Given these scenarios, we considered the possibility of investing in different stages."
