"El gas es un producto de necesidad básica. Algunas regiones del país cuentan con redes de gas natural, sin embargo, queda aún gran parte del territorio que no cuenta con red y debe ser abastecido mediante Gas Licuado de Petróleo (GLP).
Esta diferencia significa para el consumidor pagar más de seis veces por un producto que satisface las mismas necesidades. Lo que llama aún más a la reflexión y hace de este un estudio de gran importancia es que la mayor parte de los consumidores son de las poblaciones más postergadas y de menores recursos.
Cualquier mejora por más pequñea que parezca representa grandes impactos entre los usuarios y grandes beneficios no cuantificables en la problación en conjunto.
En la actualidad el 100% del producto se transporta por vías terrestres aumentando el flujo de vehículos pesados con cargas peligrosas. No sólo se trata de una cuestión de seguridad vial sino también de infraestructura, considerando que a mayor cantidad de camiones mayores son los deterioros de las rutas. En este sentido se busca una alternativa que mejore esta situación.
El objetivo no es generar de este trabajo un proyecto de inversión sino demostrar alternativas que mejoren el abastecimiento de GLP. Si de esta alternativa surgiera un proyecto que pudiera ser más rentable para un individuo privado entonces se espera que sea aún más atractivo y sea de mayor facilidad en la implementación.
El estudio se focaliza en las provincias de Chaco, Corrientes, Formosa y Misiones".
"Gas is basic-need product. Although some regions of the country have natural gas nets, there is a big part of territory that must be supplied with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The difference makes the consumer pay more than seix times the cost of a product that satisfies the same needs. What calls to reflection indeed and makes of this topic an important subject of study is the fact that the greatest part of consumers belongs to the most neglected and minor resources population. Any improvement, no matter how small it might seem, represents great impacts for users and huge non quantifiable benefits for the entire population. Nowadays, 100% of the product is transported by land, increasing the flow of heavy transportation with dangerous loads. It is not only a matter of road safety but also of infraestructure, considering that the highest amount of trucks the more the roads get deteriorated. In this research we try to find an alternative to improve this situation. The objective is not to make of this work an investment project, but exhibit alternatives that improve the supply of LPG and offer a better life quality for the consumers. If this alternative led to a project that could be profitable for a private individual, this would become even more attractive and would have an easier implementation. The research focuses on the provinces of Chaco, Corrientes, Formosa and Misiones".
