Abstract
This study evaluates whether reductions in airway pressure-time product (ΔPTPaw) during diaphragm neurostimulation-assisted ventilation can reliably quantify respiratory muscle effort. Using data from the STIMULUS trial, results show strong correlation with established physiological metrics, supporting its use as a non-invasive monitoring tool.
