"La seguridad industrial es uno de los pilares que sustentan el desarrollo exitoso de
las actividades productivas de las empresas de “Clase Mundial”. Esta disciplina crea la necesidad de metodologías y herramientas que permitan detectar y evitar en forma anticipada la causa raíz de un accidente. En este trabajo de especialidad se desarrolla una herramienta basada en las
necesidades de una compañía multinacional que se ha fijado como objetivo reducir el índice de accidentes a CERO. Para ello basa su estrategia en dos herramientas:
Inspecciones de Seguridad (como medida preventiva)
Análisis de accidentes (como medida correctiva)
Las Inspecciones son cubiertas sin problema pero los “Análisis de accidentes” no tienen la calidad ni efectividad necesarios para satisfacer los objetivos. Los directivos estiman que la brecha entre las metas propuestas y los recursos humanos necesarios para alcanzarlas es muy grande, debido a que la empresa a pasado por una reestructuración muy fuerte para mantener sus costos competitivos.
Las sucesivas reducciones del personal de Seguridad Industrial hizo necesario delegar el análisis de accidente a personal sin la experiencia ni conocimientos necesarios.
Por ello se pensó en automatizar esta tarea mediante un Sistema Experto. A continuación se detallan los pasos necesarios para el desarrollo de un prototipo a probar en una de las plantas del grupo para luego ser replicado en el resto de la unidades de producción de la empresa."
"The industrial security is one of the pillars that sustain the successful development of the productive activities of the companies of "World-wide Class". This discipline creates the necessity of methodologies and tools that allow to detect and to avoid in anticipated form the root cause of an accident. This work develops a tool based on the necessities of a multinational company that it has paid attention like objective to reduce the index of accidents to ZERO. The directors consider that the breach between the goals propose and the human resources necessary to reach them is very great, because the company to passed through a reconstruction very hard to maintain its costs competitive. The successive reductions of the personnel of Industrial Security did necessary to delegate the necessary analysis of accident to personnel without the experience nor knowledge. For that reason one thought about automating this task by means of an Expert system. Next the steps necessary for the development of a prototype are detailed to prove in one of the plants of the group soon to be talked back in the rest of the units of production of the company. "
