Abstract
"El objetivo del estudio es definir la viabilidad económica e ingenieril de la instalación de una nueva fábrica de lanzadoras no letales en Argentina. Se considera un plazo de análisis de 9 años. Primero se estudia el mercado, creando proyecciones para la demanda y precio de armas y municiones. Luego, se dimensiona la fábrica, su ubicación, sus máquinas y el balanceo de línea. Teniendo en cuenta préstamos, impuestos y costos se confecciona el cuadro económico y análisis financieros y se determina el VAN. Por último, se analizan los riesgos de mercado, ingenieriles y económicos, se crean planes para su mitigación y finalmente se determina si el proyecto es o no viable". "The purpose of the study is to define the economic viability and engineering feasibility of building a new less-lethal weapons factory in Argentina. The duration of the project is nine years. First, the market will be studied, thus creating projections for demand and price of the weapons. Afterwards, the location of the factory will be determined, as well as the machines needed, the factory layout and its productive schedule. The economic analysis then follows, where revenue, costs and taxes are used to create the accounting result and determine the NPV of the project. Finally, possible risks are determined and plans for their mitigation defined, ultimately, the project will be deemed viable or not".
