Abstract
"El uso de múltiples herramientas de software, por lo general inconexas, para realizar la gestión de los proyectos de desarrollo de software presenta desventajas respecto del uso de una única herramienta de gestión integral. La adopción de una herramienta de ese tipo en entornos donde ya existen herramientas institucionales pod´ria ser resistida tanto por la organización como por los usuarios de la misma. El desarrollo de una herramienta muy simple que integre datos de gestión de diferentes sistemas complementándolos y no reemplazándolos podría tener algunas de las ventajas de una herramienta integral y, al mismo tiempo, facilitar su introducción a la organización."
"The usage of multilple software tools, usually not related to each other, to manage software development projects lacks of the advantages a single integrated management tool. The usage of such kind of integrated tools where the usage of other tools is already institutionalized could be difficult because of the resistance to change that can be seen at the organization of individual user level. The development of a tiny and very simple tool that just integrates management data from different sources, complementing and not replacing the tools being used can have some of the advantages of a large integrated tool and, at the same time, can facilitate its implementation into the organization."
