Abstract
"El presente trabajo consta del análisis de gestión de inventarios en una empresa de la industria de consumo masivo, y la posterior elaboración de propuestas de mejora orientadas a resolver problemas detectados.
Para ello se parte de una lista de problemas relacionados con la gestión de inventarios presentados por la dirección de la empresa. A partir de estos, se hace un relevamiento de los aspectos que estén relacionados directamente con el manejo de inventaros. Esto incluye políticas de stocks, estructura y recursos de depósitos, sistemas de información y procesos operativos de gestión, entre otros.
Con la información obtenida en dicho relevamiento, se hace un análisis orientado a descubrir las causas raíces de los problemas planteados en primera instancia, lo cual se estructura mediante un diagrama causa-efecto. En esta etapa se estima la factibilidad de solución de cada uno de estos, y así se elabora una lista final de problemas a atacar con las mejoras consecuentes. Cabe aclarar que se limita el análisis a aspectos inherentes a la Ingeniería Industrial, dejando de lado, por ejemplo, causas de problema que tengan que ver con factores culturales, o de recursos humanos.
Para la elaboración de mejoras se tiene en cuenta a qué tipo de empresas se aplican, siendo Prifamon una PyME de cultura familiar en pleno crecimiento. Esto refiere a los recursos con los que cuenta la empresa para llevar a cabo las mismas, siendo muy distintos de los que contaría una empresa grande o multinacional. Es decir que se prioriza la factibilidad de aplicación de las mejoras a las que se arribe".
"The current work consists in an analysis of the inventories management in a company involved in the consumer industry, and the consequent development of improvement proposals orientated to solve detected problems. In order to achieve this goal, a list of problems related to the inventories management is obtained from the head of the company. Starting from this list, a data collection is made involving every aspect related to the matter in question. This includes stock policies, warehouse structures and resources, information systems, operation processes and more. With the information obtained from this research, an analysis is made orientated to discover the root causes of the problems presented on first instance, and it is structured in a cause-effect diagram. On this stage, an estimation of solution feasibility is made for each of them, thus obtaining a final list of problems pointed to solve or mitigate with the improvements. It is worth noting that the work is limited to aspects inherent to Industrial Engineering, leaving apart, for example, causes of problems related to cultural or human resources factors. In the development of the improvement proposals, it is taken into account the type of company with which this work is dealing, considering that Prifamon is PyMe in a stage of marked and sustained growth. This refers to the fact that the available resources for the company, mostly economical, are not the same as a large or multinational company would. This is to say that feasibility is a priority in the developing improvements".
