Abstract
"El presente proyecto consiste en el diseño e implementación de un sistema de monitoreo de la presión y temperatura de los neumáticos de un automóvil (SMPT) basado en Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE) y controlador mediante un smartphone que soporte dicha tecnología y que además funcione con sistema
operativo Android 4.4 o superior.
El objetivo consiste en que el sistema desarrollado pueda ser incorporado a los vehículos de pasajeros que salen de fábrica sin un sistema similar provisto por el fabricante o, inclusive, que reemplace a los sistemas originales una vez que la vida útil de los mismos haya finalizado. El proceso de diseño abarcó aspectos de hardware y software.
Desde el punto de vista del hardware, se diseñó la placa que implementa el sensado de la presión y temperatura del neumático, teniendo en cuenta aspectos como el montaje, el tamaño y la disposición de los componentes.
En cuanto al software, el mismo se dividió en el que se ejecuta en cada módulo sensor y en el que se ejecuta en un smartphone con Android 4.4 o superior y que cuente con tecnología de comunicación BLE.
Finalmente, se llevó a cabo la implementación del prototipo, logrando un equipo innovador en relación con la tecnología de comunicación utilizada (BLE), con reducido consumo y larga vida útil."
"This project involves the design and implementation of a system for monitoring the pressure and temperature of the tires of a car (TPMS) based on Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE) and controlled using a smartphone that supports this technology and also work with Android 4.4 or higher operating system. The aim is that the developed system can be incorporated into the vehicles that leave the factory without a similar system provided by the manufacturer, or even to replace the original systems once the life thereof is completed. The design process comprised of hardware and software aspects. From the hardware standpoint, the sensing device which implements the pressure and temperature of tire, taking into account aspects such as mounting, size and arrangement of the components were designed. On the software side, it was divided into the firmware running on each sensor module and the program that runs on a smartphone with Android 4.4 or higher and that has BLE communication technology. Finally, we carried out the implementation of the prototype, achieving an innovative system regarding the communication technology used (BLE), with low power consumption and long life."
