Abstract
"El presente trabajo redacta la mejor forma de adaptar un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad a un hotel. Se tomará el caso del Hotel X, cuyos departamentos de Recepción y Housekeeping han logrado obtener la certificación ISO 9001 en 2006 gracias al trabajo descrito en esta Tesis. A pesar de este logro, el sistema de control y mejora de procesos en el sector de Housekeeping puede mejorar aún más. A mediados de 2007, se realizó una auditoría externa para confirmar la certificación y uno de los resultados fue que se necesitaba mejorar la medición de los procesos para tener una mejor idea del impacto de las propuestas de mejora. Para cumplir con esta sugerencia, se propone en esta tesis un método mas eficaz de mejora de procesos para el sector de Housekeeping, incorporando heramientas de Estadística y Control de Calidad".

According to this, this thesis also offers a beter method for controlling the processes for the Housekeeping department, adding statistics an quality control tools to the system".
