"This work intends to show if it is possible to develop a sustainable Housing Microfinance program with focus on low income population that is excluded from private financial funds in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. The analysis includes an examination on population housing needs and its socioeconomic characteristics, housing finance sources and the definition of the main features of a Housing Microfinance Program. Sustainability is analyzed based on the socioeconomic characteristics of the population and the resources that a Housing Microfinance Institution needs for its development".
