"El trabajo pretende analizar las compañías de nicho y cómo éstas se desenvuelven en mercados que requieren un alto grado de competitividad. Desde el análisis y perspectiva de varios autores, se observa que hay elementos comunes sobre formas de organización, estrategia a seguir, estructura, y contexto en el mercado no sólo regional sino global".
